Nathan

Owner and President, Nathan started at Burnell’s in 2006. His grandfather, Aloysius Regan, opened Regan Jewelers in downtown Garden City Kansas in 1934, and Nathan’s father took it over in 1977. Therefore, Nathan was practically born into the business and continues the tradition as a third generation jeweler. Nathan’s work ethic, professionalism, and positive attitude are amazing.
Nathan has a great passion for creating jewelry, and a discerning eye for it. He has won many awards, including First Place and Best of Show in 2016 and 2017 (Kansas Jewelers Association,) and Honorable Mention in the national CASE Awards competition in New York in 2017.Nathan became a Jewelers of America Certified Bench Jeweler in 2005 and is also certified from Jewelers of America in Senior Management. Nathan is the outgoing President of the Kansas Jewelers Association, serves on the board of the Independent Jeweler’s Organization and is active in at the Wichita Independent Business Association and the Wichita Chamber of Commerce. He is an audio-book junkie, golfer, and animal lover.

Robin

Gemologist, Appraiser, Buyer, and “The Fairy Godmother of Jewelry”, Robin has had a passion for the jewelry business since she was 5. She had the good fortune of being able to help her grandmother pick out new jewelry every time she got a new dress. It stuck. Now she loves to help customers pick out jewelry and fulfill dreams with the wave of her wand.
Robin majored in art in college and focused on jewelry and textile design. After teaching art for a few years, she decided to pursue a career in jewelry. Robin’s been in the business for thirty-seven years as buyer, corporate sales director, manager, and gemologist. She has a B.A. degree, a Gemologist degree from GIA, and a Jewelers of America Senior Management Certificate. Robin is involved in the Community. She also teaches glassblowing and her hobbies include all things dogs, reading, and music. She and her husband have two Goldendoodles.

Sean

Our Sales Manager, Sean has been at Burnell’s for 10 years, and twenty years in the jewelry business. He has a great sense of humor and easygoing nature. His specialty is helping bridal customers find the perfect ring. He is currently working on GIA’s Graduate Gemologist program and is a Jewelers of America Certified Sales Professional. Running and playing drums are Sean’s therapy. He volunteers his time to play drums for different church events and enjoys playing open jams as well as running ultra-marathons. Sean is a new Grandpa which is his favorite role of all.

Erin

Erin is a seasoned Bench Jeweler and has been in the jewelry business for 13 years. She has an Associates Degree in Business Administration and Accounting, but her dad convinced her to take a jewelry class for fun. She never looked back and has continued to grow and learn with an unending passion for knowledge of the industry. Erin obtained her Graduate Gemology degree from Gemological Institute of America in 2009. Aside from jewelry, Erin enjoys quilting and gardening. She has several cats and a dog named Penny.

Kristi

As leader of our digital presence, Kristi is a self-proclaimed “creative type”, her background is in art, graphic design, and web design. Kristi handles our Marketing efforts, digital content, e-commerce, merchandising, and events. She is fashion and jewelry-obsessed, loves to travel, and is an aunt to six, dog mom to two, and proud wifey to Nathan.

Matthew

Matthew, joined Burnell’s in 2022 as an apprentice jeweler, where he immediately fell in love with learning from the master jewelers. He earned degrees from Newman University in English and Theater but always had an interest in jewelry and even created some wire-wrapping jewelry of his own. When he’s not at the bench, he likes to write poetry and host game nights. We appreciate Matthews enthusiasm and are thrilled to have him on board!

Samantha

Samantha (Sam) is the creative jewelry and CADCAM designer extraordinaire at Burnell's Fine Jewelry and Design. She joined us in 2022 after working in the industry since graduating from The Tyler School of Art at Temple University with a BFA in Metals, Jewelry, and CADCAM. When not crafting dazzling designs, you'll find Sam navigating digital realms in video games, making digital art, or using AI technology to implement into new and creative jewelry designs with first mate Pippin - the one-eyed shih tzu.

Jereny

Jereny, the latest addition to our team, infuses a store with a youthful and fresh outlook in her role as a sales associate. With a willingness to assist anyone in need, we know everyone will appreciate her can-do attitude. Jereny is currently diving into the world of business as a student at Wichita State. She recently moved to Wichita with her cat and is ready to embrace every adventure that comes.

Heather has been with Burnells since 2021 and we are so lucky to have her! She manages all of the office tasks that keep the store running smoothly. A Nebraska native, Heather lives in the area with her husband and two daughters. When she is not at the store, you will find her with her family at the lake!

Ariana

With a decade-long tenure in the sales industry, Ariana shines as a seasoned professional, dedicating five of those years specifically to the realm of jewelry. Her genuine passion for jewelry is palpable! Ariana’s demeanor exudes warmth and approachability. Outside of her career, she is an avid animal lover and likes to hit the gym.
